2025 Camp Info
Camp Dates: June 17th-20th
Location: Lake Cumberland 4-H Camping Center, Nancy, KY
Cost: $90 (ages 9-14); scholarships available.
*Teen leaders (15-18) have a separate application process and must be approved by agents. Signing up does not guarantee they will attend. Their full cost to attend is $45.
Registration Process
Step 1: Pre-registration
Visit Signup Genius to begin the pre-registration process. Each child must be registered separately.
**Please note- this does NOT guarantee a spot for camp! If completed paperwork and $25 deposit is not received within 1 week of claiming a slot, we will reopen it.
Step 2: Paperwork & Deposit
Submit completed paperwork and $25 deposit to:
McCreary County Extension, 141 College St., Whitley City, KY.
Mailing address: P.O. Box 278, Whitley City, KY 42653.
Office hours: Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm.
Campers- Age 9-14
To be considered a camper, child must 9 years old on the first day of camp (June 17th). You may download the application packet here, or pick one up at our office.

CIT's are age 15, teen leaders are ages 16-18. Leaders have different responsibilities than campers, therefore they undergo a selection process by application. You may download an application packet here, or pick one up at our office.

Camp capacity depends on adult volunteers (age 19+). Volunteer Counselors can bring one child for FREE. All volunteers must be screened and pass a background check before attending camp. Apply now!
